Each year, Sena supports various social and cultural projects – from showcases, festivals and music competitions to helping finance album recordings. Examples of such projects include the Sena Performers POPnl Award, Sena Talent Stages at Liberation Day events, Sena European Guitar Award, Sena Music Production Fund, Sena Dutch Jazz Competition and the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam.
The Performing Artists (musicians) Section has a particularly active social and cultural policy. Its purpose is clear: developing talent and promoting decently paid jobs for musicians. To meet this objective, Sena reserves three percent of the collected funds intended for musicians. This amount is spent entirely on social and cultural projects.
