Are you a professional musician and do you want to release your music in a digital or physical format, but are you short of cash? The Sena Music Production Fund can help you out with the support you need to take the next step in your musical career.
Who can apply?
1. Only professional performing artists (musicians) and producers (working more than 20 hours per week as a performing artist and/or producer) who want to release a CD/music production and are registered with Sena are eligible for applications from the Sena Music Production Fund.
1.1 Producers can apply 5 times per 2 calendar years for 5 different acts. Musicians can apply once, every 2 calendar years, for a minimum of 3 tracks or a complete CD/music production.
1.2 A new application may not be made by a musician/producer if the loan portion of a previous grant to the musician/producer in question has not been repaid on time.
1.3 No new application may be submitted if it appears after 2 years that there has been no release of the CD/music production for which a contribution was made in the past.
Please note: new subsidy conditions for the Sena Music Production Fund!
Due to the large number of applications and a limited budget, the subsidy conditions have become stricter:
- Artists who received an award in 2022 or 2023 cannot apply;
- If you have not yet repaid a loan from a previous grant, you cannot apply;
- If recording starts before June 23, you cannot submit an application;
- If you do not have a Sena number you cannot apply.
Read the new subsidy conditions carefully before submitting an application! Old application forms will not be processed!

The Sena Performers Music Production Fund receives more than 800 subsidy applications per year, while a budget of € 300,000 per year is available. This means that only a limited number of applications can be honored.
The deadline for this application round is Sunday, June 23, 2024 no later than 11:59 PM. The Performing Artists section and the Producers section of Sena decide whether or not to grant a subsidy application, but they are advised by an advisory committee. Questions?
